Las Vegas AcesvsMinnesota Lynx
LV 87/MIN 98
Things to say
The Minnesota Lynx beat the Las Vegas Aces 98-87 at home.
01
opener
Lynx handled the Aces at home, 98-87. Never really felt that close. Minnesota's just the better team right now, and they're 26-7 for a reason.
02
key player
Olivia Miles was the best player on the floor. 26 and 7 dimes, running the whole show like a vet. She ate them up.
03
hot take
Vegas is coasting on their name at this point. 22-10 looks fine, but they got outclassed by a team that just wanted it more.
04
deep cut
NaLyssa Smith grabbed 11 boards for the Aces and it barely mattered. Nobody outside of Jackie Young could buy a bucket for Vegas.
05
exit
Anyway, Minnesota's rolling. Curious if the Aces figure it out before the playoffs, cause right now it's not looking great.
The recap
Minnesota took care of business at home, running the league-best Lynx to 98-87 over Vegas. Olivia Miles ran the whole show with 26 and 7 dishes, mixing buckets with playmaking while Natasha Howard cleaned the glass.
Jackie Young dropped 23 to keep the Aces breathing, but nobody else showed up and Vegas just couldn't buy a bucket down the stretch. Lynx to 26-7 and it wasn't really that close.
