The recap
The Angels went into Daikin Park and stole one 3-1, which is exactly the kind of quiet road win nobody outside the clubhouse notices. This was a pitcher's duel all night, low-scoring and tight, with both bullpens holding serve until the Angels finally scratched across enough to matter.
Houston's bats just couldn't string anything together, going down 1-0 in the run column for most of the game before it slipped away. At 63-63 the Astros are treading water, while the last-place Angels get to feel good about themselves for a night.
