The recap
Houston went into Comerica on a getaway day and walked out with an 8-6 win, leaning on the heart of the order to do the damage early. The Astros bats kept the pressure on all afternoon, and even when Detroit clawed back into it, the lineup had enough cushion to hold serve.
The Tigers, sitting at 35-48, just couldn't string enough together to flip it late. Houston takes the series feeling good about that one.
