Houston walked into the Bronx and stole one, 9-7, snapping the Yankees' momentum on a night the pitching matchup never really settled anything. The Astros kept putting up crooked numbers, working the count and making New York's arms pay every time they left something over the plate.
The Yankees fought back to make it a two-run game, but the bullpen couldn't slam the door and Houston's heart of the order kept the line moving. Getaway-day baseball at its messiest, and the .500 Astros are the ones flying home happy.
