The recap
The White Sox absolutely tore the cover off the ball, hanging 14 on the Athletics in a game that was never close. Chicago's bats got into a rhythm early and just kept the line moving, while the A's pitching had no answers and clearly left too much over the plate.
Whoever Oakland ran out there got knocked around, and by the middle innings this one was pure garbage time. Fourteen to one on a getaway day is the kind of laugher that makes the whole dugout loose.
