The recap
San Francisco took Toronto to the woodshed at Oracle Park, 10-1, in a game that was over about as fast as it started. The Giants' bats came alive and never let up, stacking runs while their arm on the mound cruised and kept the Blue Jays off the board until it barely mattered.
Toronto managed a single run and never threatened, a rough getaway-day dud with the offense flat and nothing clicking. When you get run out of the building by nine, there's not much to hang your hat on beyond booking the flight home.
