The recap
Milwaukee rolled into Busch Stadium and left with an 8-4 win that wasn't as close as the final makes it look. The Brewers' bats got going early against the Cardinals' starter and never really let up, stacking runs while their own guy kept St.
Louis' heart of the order quiet through the middle innings. The Cardinals scratched a few back late, but the deficit was too deep and the bullpen couldn't stop the bleeding.
Milwaukee's now 59-34 and looking every bit like the class of the division, while St. Louis drops back to 48-44 and heads home wondering where the offense went.
