Crystal PalacevsFulham
CRY 3/FUL 2
Things to say
Crystal Palace won 3-2 at Fulham's Craven Cottage.
01
opener
Palace went to Craven Cottage and stole one, 3-2. Wild game, five goals total. Fulham threw everything at them late and it still wasn't enough.
02
key player
Dean Henderson was the story in goal for Palace. Five saves and he kept them alive when Fulham was all over them in the second half.
03
hot take
Fulham's still winless and it's on the back line. You can't give up three at home and expect to climb the table.
04
deep cut
Axel Disasi had sixteen defensive interventions for Palace. Guy was basically a wall in front of Henderson all afternoon.
05
exit
Anyway, Fulham needs points fast. Let's see if they can finally get one next week.
The recap
Crystal Palace went into Craven Cottage and walked out with a 3-2 win, and it was the kind of game where the scoreboard kept moving. Fulham threw plenty at it — Gonzalo García led the way with five shots and they controlled the ball — but they couldn't get the stop when it mattered.
The difference was Dean Henderson in the Palace net, who made five saves to keep his side ahead every time Fulham pushed. Three straight losses now for Fulham, who keep playing well enough to lose.
