FC CincinnativsNashville SC
CIN 0/NSH 4
Things to say
Nashville SC beat FC Cincinnati 4-0 at home.
01
opener
Nashville just ran Cincinnati off the field, 4-0. It was never close. They kept a clean sheet and honestly could've had more.
02
key player
Mukhtar was all over it, five shots and pulling the strings. When he's cooking, Nashville is a different team.
03
hot take
Cincinnati's supposed to be a contender and they didn't even test the keeper. That's a real problem heading into the stretch run.
04
deep cut
Schwake made six saves and still got a clean sheet, so the 4-0 flatters Nashville a little. Cincinnati had chances, just no finish.
05
exit
Nashville at 16-4-2 is quietly one of the best in the league. Curious to see if they can keep it rolling next week.
The recap
Nashville SC absolutely rolled FC Cincinnati 4-0 at home, and it was never close. Hany Mukhtar led the charge with five shots and kept the pressure on all night while the home side buried chance after chance.
Cincinnati keeper Roman Celentano had four saves but got zero help in front of him, and Nashville's Brian Schwake barely broke a sweat for the clean sheet. That win pushes Nashville to a monster 16-4-2, and they look like a team nobody wants to see right now.
