Washington CommandersvsBaltimore Ravens
WSH 3/BAL 41
Things to say
Baltimore Ravens beat the Washington Commanders 41-3 at M&T Bank Stadium.
01
opener
Ravens rolled, 41-3. It was over by halftime. Washington just couldn't move the ball all night.
02
key player
Joe Fagnano was efficient — 19-of-27 for 162 and a touchdown, plus a one-yard plunge himself. Backup or not, he ran that offense clean.
03
hot take
Three points at home for Washington is embarrassing. That offense looked totally lost at the line of scrimmage.
04
deep cut
Tyler Loop had a monster night on kicks — hit from 51 and drilled every extra point. Ravens found something at kicker.
05
exit
Depth chart stuff aside, Baltimore's rolling into the season 3-0. Curious what the starters do when it counts.
The recap
Baltimore ran Washington out of the building 41-3, and it was never close for a second. The Ravens hung 24 unanswered before the Commanders even sniffed the scoreboard, and by the time Washington got a field goal it was already 31-0.
Nobody carried this one so much as everybody chipped in — Chris Moore's 25-yard grab from Tyler Huntley got it rolling, Joe Fagnano punched one in and threw another, and the defense pitched a shutout until garbage time. Washington couldn't move the ball all night, and that lone field goal is the only reason it wasn't a full blanking.
