The recap
The Dodgers rolled into Sacramento and put up a crooked number, taking it 9-4 over the A's on a getaway day. LA's bats did the heavy lifting early, getting to the Athletics' starter before the bullpen could even warm up, and once they grabbed the lead they never looked back.
The A's scratched out four but could never make it a real ballgame against the best record in baseball. At 55-30, the Dodgers keep cruising while Oakland's relocated crew drops to 40-45.
