Los Angeles DodgersvsArizona Diamondbacks
LAD 2/ARI 1
The Dodgers edged the Diamondbacks 2-1 in 10 innings at Chase Field.
The recap
Classic pitchers' duel out in the desert — both starters got into their stuff and the zeros just kept stacking up, knotted at one deep into the night. This one needed free baseball, and the Dodgers finally scratched across the go-ahead run in the tenth to steal it 2-1.
The bullpen slammed the door in the bottom half, and LA walks out of Chase Field with the win. Arizona did everything but come up with that one clutch hit, and it cost them on a getaway day.
