The Dodgers went into Petco on a getaway day and absolutely flattened the Padres 15-3, turning what should've been a divisional dogfight into batting practice. The heart of the order left the yard and kept teeing off, and once San Diego's manager went to the pen early, the floodgates never closed.
By the middle innings this was a laugher, with LA stacking crooked numbers while the Padres just tried to get to the finish line. At 53-30, the Dodgers look every bit the class of the division.
