The Los Angeles Dodgers roll into Rate Field tonight sitting at 44-26, one of the best records in baseball, to take on a Chicago White Sox club that's quietly put together a 37-31 mark and is no pushover at home. Vegas has the Dodgers as heavy chalk at minus-207, so the books aren't giving the South Siders much respect, but the over-under is sitting at 8, which tells you somebody thinks the starters might actually get into their stuff and make it a real ballgame.

The White Sox bullpen has been shaky lately and if the Dodgers get into it early and force Chicago to go to the pen, this one could get ugly in a hurry. My bold call: Dodgers win, but the White Sox heart of the order gives LA's starter enough trouble to keep it close into the seventh.
