The recap
White Sox knocked off the Dodgers 6-4 at Rate Field, which is a get-off-the-mat result for a club nobody had on the bingo card. LA's starter didn't have it early, the heart of the order tagged him for a couple that left the yard, and Chicago was suddenly playing with house money.
Dave Roberts went to the pen a hair too early and the bridge arms coughed up the cushion before the back end could even warm. Dodgers are still 45-27 and fine, but on a getaway day in June, the Sox flipped the script.
