Indiana FevervsChicago Sky
IND 90/CHI 86
Things to say
Indiana Fever beat the Chicago Sky 90-86 at the United Center.
01
opener
Fever went into Chicago and took care of business, 90-86. Sky hung around all night but couldn't get the stop when it mattered. Indiana's just the better team right now.
02
key player
Kelsey Mitchell dropped 27 and was getting buckets whenever they needed one. She's the engine, not just the sidekick.
03
hot take
Everybody watches for Clark, but she quietly ran the show with 11 dimes. She doesn't need to score 30 to wreck you.
04
deep cut
Cardoso grabbed 9 boards and Boston matched it with 11 in the paint. Sky just got out-muscled on the glass all game.
05
exit
Fever are 20-12 and rolling. Anyway, I wanna see who they draw next.
The recap
Fever went into the United Center and walked out with a 90-86 win, and Kelsey Mitchell was the one who carried it — 27 buckets, absolutely couldn't be stopped. Caitlin Clark was running the show with 11 dimes while Aliyah Boston cleaned the glass with a double-double, so Indiana had everybody eating.
Chicago hung around behind Natasha Cloud's 17, but nobody on the Sky could match Mitchell when it mattered and they let the game slip late. Indiana moves to 20-12 and the Sky took the L to fall to 12-20.
