Indiana FevervsToronto Tempo
IND 101/TOR 95
Things to say
The Indiana Fever beat the Toronto Tempo 101-95 on the road.
01
opener
Fever went into Toronto and took care of business, 101-95. Tempo hung around but never really had the answer late. Indiana just had too much.
02
key player
Kelsey Mitchell was the best player on the floor, 29 points and getting buckets whenever she wanted. She ate them up.
03
hot take
Everybody talks Clark, but this was Mitchell's night. Clark ran the show with 7 dimes and let Kelsey cook.
04
deep cut
Aneesah Morrow grabbed 16 boards for Toronto and it barely mattered. When you're getting cleaned on the glass and still lose, that stings.
05
exit
Fever look locked in at 24-12. Curious to see if they keep it rolling next time out.
The recap
Indiana went into Toronto and walked out with a 101-95 W, and it was Kelsey Mitchell putting on a clinic with 29 to lead the way. Caitlin Clark ran the show and dished seven dimes to keep the Fever humming down the stretch.
Toronto had life behind Marina Mabrey's 22 and Aneesah Morrow crashing the glass for 16 boards, but the Tempo just couldn't get the stops when it mattered. Playoff-bound Fever handle business against a Toronto squad that took another tough L.
