Indiana FevervsDallas Wings
IND 85/DAL 91
Things to say
Dallas Wings beat the Indiana Fever 91-85 at home.
01
opener
Wings took it 91-85. Dallas defended their house and Indiana just couldn't get the road win. Solid team basketball down the stretch.
02
key player
Arike Ogunbowale went off for 32. She was getting buckets all night, tough shots, and-ones, the works. When she's cooking, Dallas is a problem.
03
hot take
Kelsey Mitchell dropped 37 and still took the L. That tells you everything, you can't be a one-woman show against a team playing together.
04
deep cut
Paige Bueckers quietly ran the show with 8 dimes. And Makayla Timpson grabbed 12 boards off the bench for Indiana, kid was everywhere in the paint.
05
exit
Fever are still 24-13 though, they're fine. Next one should be a fun rematch.
The recap
Dallas took down the East-leading Fever 91-85, and Arike Ogunbowale was the engine, dropping 32 and hitting the buckets that mattered down the stretch. Kelsey Mitchell went absolutely nuclear for Indiana with 37 - an absolute clinic - but she couldn't get enough help to drag them over the line.
Paige Bueckers ran the show with 8 dimes while Jessica Shepard cleaned the glass, and Dallas just had a few too many answers late. Caitlin Clark stuffed the sheet with 9 assists, but the Wings ate them up when it counted and stole the six-point W.
