Astros bats woke up in a big way at Daikin Park, hanging a nine-spot on Cleveland to take this one 9-3. Houston jumped on the Guardians early and the heart of the order kept piling on, never letting Cleveland sniff a comeback.
The Guardians' starter just didn't have it, and once the manager went to the pen the bleeding never really stopped. Nice bounce-back night for Houston, who needed it sitting under .500 at 36-41.
