The recap
Shutout football in Pittsburgh, and it was the Jets doing the smothering. Geno Smith hit Jelani Woods early, Jason Sanders tacked on a field goal, and Brady Cook found Quincy Skinner Jr. for a 31-yard dagger to make it 17-0 by halftime.
Pittsburgh simply couldn't move the ball behind Drew Allar's 11-of-23 line, and Nate Lynn's two sacks kept the pocket a nightmare all night. When you can't put up a single point at home, the defense never even gets a chance to bail you out.
