The recap
San Diego took care of business at home, running out 3-1 winners over the Galaxy in this California clash. Anders Dreyer was the guy pulling the strings, peppering the goal with six shots and keeping the LA defense on its heels all night.
The Galaxy had chances of their own, with Hirving Lozano firing off a team-high seven attempts, but keeper CJ dos Santos slammed the door with six saves to protect the lead. Once San Diego pulled ahead, they never looked back, and that two-goal cushion at the final whistle tells the whole story.
