Leeds UnitedvsBrighton & Hove Albion
LEE 1/BHA 1
Things to say
Brighton and Leeds played to a 1-1 draw at the Amex on Saturday.
01
opener
Brighton and Leeds ended up all square, 1-1. Felt like a game Brighton should've won at home. They just couldn't finish.
02
key player
Verbruggen kept Brighton in it with three saves, but honestly Lewis Dunk was the guy back there. Seventeen defensive plays, ran the whole back line.
03
hot take
A point on the road is fine, but Leeds parked the bus and got away with one. Trafford made four saves for a reason.
04
deep cut
Pascal Gross had five shots by himself and still couldn't find the net. That's the whole game right there.
05
exit
Dropped points at home stings. We'll see if Brighton bounces back next week.
The recap
Brighton and Leeds split the points in a 1-1 draw down at the Amex, with neither side able to grab a winner. Pascal Gross was the busiest man for Brighton, firing off five shots while Lewis Dunk mopped up everything at the back with 17 defensive stops.
Leeds keeper James Trafford earned his point too, turning away four to keep his side level. Both teams walk off with a draw that feels like a missed chance more than a party.
