New York LibertyvsIndiana Fever
NY 92/IND 106
Things to say
The Indiana Fever beat the New York Liberty 106-92 at home.
01
opener
Fever handled the Liberty at home, 106-92. Never really felt close in the second half. Indiana just had more juice.
02
key player
Kelsey Mitchell went for 28 and couldn't miss. She was getting buckets every way you can, and New York had no answer.
03
hot take
Everybody watches Clark, but she was the setup guy tonight. Ten dimes, ran the whole thing, let Mitchell eat.
04
deep cut
Stewie only got 19 and Jonquel had to do all the dirty work with 10 boards. When your bigs are your whole offense, you took the L.
05
exit
Fever look like a problem down the stretch. Rematch is gonna be a war though, that's the one I want.
The recap
Indiana handled New York 106-92 at home, and it was Kelsey Mitchell putting on a clinic with 28 to lead the way. Caitlin Clark ran the show and dished out 10 dimes, setting everybody up while Aliyah Boston did the dirty work inside.
The Liberty just didn't have enough answers — Stewart got her 19 but couldn't drag them back once the Fever pulled ahead. New York took the L and dropped to 20-14 while Indiana keeps climbing.
