Minnesota LynxvsToronto Tempo
MIN 104/TOR 72
Things to say
Minnesota beat Toronto 104-72 on the road at Scotiabank Arena.
01
opener
Lynx went into Toronto and just took over. 104-72, never close. Minnesota's the real deal at 24-6.
02
key player
Napheesa Collier led with 16 and barely broke a sweat. When she can rest in the fourth of a blowout, that's the whole team clicking.
03
hot take
Honestly Toronto took the L before tip-off. A 32-point loss at home isn't a bad night, it's a rebuild.
04
deep cut
Laura Juskaite dropped 19 for the Tempo and it didn't matter one bit. When your top scorer goes off and you still get ate up by 32, the problem's everywhere else.
05
exit
Minnesota's rolling. I'm just watching to see if anybody can actually give them a game down the stretch.
The recap
The Lynx went into Toronto and left no doubt, hanging 104 on the Tempo in a 32-point blowout. Minnesota didn't even need a big night from Napheesa Collier, who quietly led them with 16 while the whole crew got in on the buckets.
Laura Juskaite kept Toronto from getting embarrassed with 19, but the Tempo just couldn't buy a bucket against Minnesota's defense. At 24-6, the Lynx are looking like the real deal, and this one was over by the second half.
