Mets absolutely steamrolled the Marlins 10-1 at Citi on a getaway day, and it wasn't close past the middle innings. Miami's starter clearly didn't have it, and once the heart of the order got into his stuff the wheels came off in a hurry.
The Mets bullpen mopped up cleanly to keep the Marlins to a single run, which is about all you can ask for in a laugher like this. Both clubs sit under .500, but for one afternoon the Mets looked like the team that paid the payroll.
