Washington went into Phoenix and handled business, 94-84, playing like the playoff team they are while the Mercury just kept taking the L. Sonia Citron ran the whole show for the Mystics, stuffing the sheet with 19 points and nine dimes and basically ate them up all night.
Natasha Mack scrapped for 19 and eight boards to keep Phoenix breathing, but with Alyssa Thomas dropping 10 assists and nothing to show for it, the home crowd never got their moment. Mystics roll to 23-15, Phoenix drops to 13-25 and the season's pretty much a wrap.
