Washington went into Phoenix and walked out with an 80-73 road W, and it was Georgia Amoore running the show with 25 to pace the Mystics. Kahleah Copper did everything she could for the Mercury, dropping 35 and getting buckets from all over, but nobody else showed up to help her carry it.
Kiki Iriafen ate on the glass with 12 boards and gave Washington the extra possessions that mattered down the stretch. Copper took the L in a game where she was the best player on the floor and it still wasn't enough.
