The recap
The Dodgers walked it off at home, edging the Nationals 6-5 in a back-and-forth that came down to the final swing. Washington hung tough all night and had LA on the ropes, trading haymakers with the heart of the order doing damage on both sides.
But the bullpen couldn't slam the door, and the Dodgers made them pay when it counted. At 85-57, LA keeps rolling while the Nats drop another tough one on the road.
