Norway edged Ivory Coast 2-1 in Dallas to grab a big World Cup result. Haaland was the focal point all afternoon, peppering the goal with a team-high four shots and stretching a stubborn Ivorian back line.
Kristoffer Ajer did the dirty work behind him with 16 defensive interventions, snuffing out the Ivory Coast counters that kept threatening to level it. CIV had their moments and pulled one back, but Norway saw it out for the three points.
