Baltimore OriolesvsTexas Rangers
BAL 10/TEX 5
Things to say
The Orioles beat the Rangers 10-5 on the road at Globe Life Field.
01
opener
Orioles went into Texas and put up a ten-spot. Baltimore's bats were locked in all night. Rangers just couldn't answer.
02
key player
The heart of that Baltimore order carried it — a couple guys left the yard and the whole lineup was on base. Ten runs doesn't happen by accident.
03
hot take
Texas going 59-59 tells you everything. That's not a bad team, it's a boring one. Around .500 with no identity.
04
deep cut
Rangers skipper went to the pen too early and it got away fast. Once that bullpen door opened, Baltimore feasted.
05
exit
Both clubs are basically buried under .500, so it's play-the-kids time. Curious who they run out there tomorrow.
The recap
Baltimore went into Globe Life Field and hung a 10-spot on Texas, turning what looked like a getaway-day snoozer into a laugher. The bats stayed hot up and down the order, and once the O's cracked into the Rangers' pen the floodgates opened.
Texas scratched out five but never really threatened once they fell behind. Orioles roll, and Texas is right back at .500 wondering where the pitching went.
