The recap
Baltimore rolled into Great American on the Fourth and left with an 8-5 win, and in that bandbox it was never going to be a pitcher's duel. The Orioles' bats did the damage, stacking runs on a Reds staff that couldn't miss enough barrels.
Cincinnati clawed back to make it a game, but every time they closed the gap Baltimore answered. Reds drop to 40-48 while the O's keep hanging around the fringe of the race at 42-48.
