Orlando City SCvsMinnesota United FC
ORL 3/MIN 3
Things to say
Minnesota United and Orlando City played to a 3-3 draw at Allianz Field.
01
opener
Six goals and nobody wins. Minnesota and Orlando traded blows all night and finished 3-3. Wild one to sit through.
02
key player
Maxime Crépeau made six saves in the Orlando goal and it still ended 3-3. Kid kept them in it and got nothing for it.
03
hot take
A 3-3 at home should feel like a win, but Minnesota gave up three at their own place. That defense is a problem.
04
deep cut
Griezmann only put up two shots for Orlando. When your big name is that quiet and you still grab a point, you'll take it.
05
exit
Both teams need the three points more than the one. Curious to see who tightens up first next week.
The recap
This one was a track meet in St. Paul, ending 3-3 after both sides traded blows all night.
Minnesota United fired away at home, but Orlando kept answering, with keeper Maxime Crépeau standing on his head for six saves to keep Orlando in it. Neither team could grab a clean sheet or the winner, so they split the points in a draw that felt more like a shootout.
Both squads walk away frustrated they couldn't put the other away.
