Texas RangersvsChicago White Sox
TEX 11/CHW 2
Things to say
The Texas Rangers hammered the Chicago White Sox 11-2 at Rate Field.
01
opener
Rangers just put a beating on the White Sox, 11-2. It was over early. Texas swung the bats all night and Chicago never had an answer.
02
key player
The whole heart of the order was locked in for Texas — when a team hangs eleven, everybody left the yard or found a hole. That's an ambush, not a rally.
03
hot take
The White Sox manager left his guy out there way too long. Down big and he's still eating innings — go to the pen and save the arm.
04
deep cut
Look at the record, though — Texas is only 66-66 climbing back to .500, and this is the kind of getaway-day laugher that flips a whole road trip.
05
exit
Anyway, blowouts don't tell you much — I want to see if Texas carries the bats into the next series.
The recap
Texas came into Rate Field and left no doubt, hanging 11 on the White Sox in an 11-2 laugher. The Rangers bats got going early and never let up, working counts and stacking crooked numbers until Chicago's pen was just trying to survive the afternoon.
The South Siders never got the heart of the order clicking and couldn't answer once the lead ballooned. Getaway day turned into a beatdown, and Texas rides that offense back to .500 at 66-66.
