Rays rolled into Anaheim and put up an 8-3 beatdown on a getaway day. Tampa's bats got into the Angels starter early, knocked him around for a handful, and the bullpen never really steadied things once the manager went to the pen.
Halos hung a three on the board but couldn't string anything together against a Rays staff that just kept pumping strikes. Tampa's now 41-27 and looking like the real deal in the AL East, while the Angels drop to 29-43 and the wheels are wobbling.
