The Rays came into Rogers Centre and turned it into batting practice, hanging a dozen runs on Toronto in a 12-2 blowout. This one got out of hand early and never tightened up, with the Jays bullpen getting shredded once the starter ran out of gas.
Tampa Bay's whole lineup one through nine did damage, and by the middle innings it was pure garbage time. That's a statement win for a Rays club sitting pretty at 58-42, while Toronto keeps sinking below .500.
