The Orioles came out swinging and turned Camden Yards into a launching pad, hanging 11 on the Rays in an 11-2 laugher. Tampa Bay walked in at 34-19 looking like the class of the division, but Baltimore left the yard early and often and never let them breathe.
Once the O's blew it open, the Rays' manager was basically just trying to save his bullpen for tomorrow. Big statement night for a sub-.500 club that needed it.
