The recap
The Rays walked into Coors Field, the one yard where offense usually goes to party, and slammed the door shut with a 4-0 shutout. Tampa Bay's arms were the whole story here, with the starter setting the tone and the bullpen never letting the Rockies breathe.
Colorado couldn't push a single run across in the thin mountain air, which tells you everybody on the Rays' staff got into his stuff. At 68-46, the Rays keep rolling while the Rockies sink further toward the basement.
