The recap
Boston went into T-Mobile and handed Seattle a 6-2 loss, and it wasn't really as close as the score makes it look. The Red Sox bats got into the Mariners starter early and kept the line moving through the heart of the order, while Seattle's offense never could string anything together off Boston's arms.
The Mariners bullpen got asked to cover too much ground and it showed once the middle innings opened up. Rough night for a club already scratching to stay over .500, and Boston steals one on the road.
