The Rockies, of all teams, went into Target Field and stole one 8-5, which nobody saw coming from a 33-win club. Colorado's bats did the heavy lifting, putting up enough runs early to keep the Twins chasing all night.
Minnesota clawed back to five but never got over the hump, and the bullpen couldn't slam the door once Colorado built the cushion. Getaway-day baseball at its weirdest, and the Rockies will take it.
