Real Salt LakevsOrlando City SC
RSL 1/ORL 2
Things to say
Orlando City beat Real Salt Lake 2-1 at home for a full three points.
01
opener
Orlando took care of business at home, 2-1 over Salt Lake. Never really looked in doubt once they got in front. Good result for the playoff push.
02
key player
Griezmann was the difference maker again. Five shots, pulling the strings all night. Guy is worth every penny for Orlando.
03
hot take
Salt Lake are a better road team than their record shows. They got done by finishing, not by being outplayed.
04
deep cut
Kobi Henry put in a shift for RSL, eleven defensive interventions. Nobody talks about it but he was cleaning everything up.
05
exit
Anyway, both these teams are scrapping for the West. Should be a fun stretch run.
The recap
Orlando City took care of business at home, edging Real Salt Lake 2-1 to grab three points. Griezmann was the focal point up top, leading the line with five shots and dragging the attack forward all night.
RSL had chances and pushed for the equalizer, but Maxime Crépeau slammed the door late to protect the lead. A gritty, hard-earned win that nudges Orlando up the table.
