Things to say
Nottingham Forest and Tottenham played to a 0-0 draw at The City Ground.
01
opener
Yeah, it finished nil-nil. Nobody could find the net all afternoon. One of those games where both teams kind of canceled each other out.
02
key player
Murillo was everywhere for Forest. Thirteen defensive interventions and 39 accurate passes. He basically bolted the back door shut.
03
hot take
Both these teams are winless and it shows. Neither one looked like scoring even if you gave them all night.
04
deep cut
McAtee and Marmoush each had three shots and still nothing. That's the whole story right there, all volume no end product.
05
exit
A point's a point I guess. We'll see if either of them can actually finish a chance next weekend.
The recap
This one ended nil-nil at The City Ground, and honestly it earned that scoreline. Neither side could find the net, with James McAtee and Omar Marmoush each firing three shots but nothing to show for it.
Murillo was the standout for Forest, breaking up plays all afternoon with 13 defensive stops to keep the clean sheet. Both teams walk away with a point and not much else to talk about.
