Toronto TempovsLas Vegas Aces
TOR 73/LV 93
Things to say
The Las Vegas Aces beat the Toronto Tempo 93-73 at home.
01
opener
Aces handled business at home, 93-73. Never really in doubt. Toronto's just not built to hang with Vegas right now.
02
key player
A'ja Wilson went for 27 and 8 boards. She ate them up in the paint all night. MVP stuff, business as usual.
03
hot take
Toronto at 11-28 is basically playing spoiler mode. This one was over by halftime.
04
deep cut
Jackie Young quietly dropped 8 dimes. She's the one that makes Vegas actually flow.
05
exit
Aces are locked into that top seed. Real question's whether anybody out West can push them in the playoffs.
The recap
Vegas handled business at home, running away with it 93-73 behind another A'ja Wilson clinic — 27 points and 8 boards, just carving Toronto up in the paint all night. Jackie Young ran the show with 8 dimes and the Aces looked every bit the 27-13 crew they are.
Toronto never really threatened; Isabelle Harrison led them with 15 but that's a rough night when your leading scorer barely cracks the teens. The Tempo took the L and drop to 11-28 — this one was over early.
