Toronto TempovsChicago Sky

TOR 111/CHI 104

WNBA League Pass/TSNWintrust Arena
Things to say

Toronto Tempo beat the Chicago Sky 111-104 in Chicago.

01
opener
Tempo went into Wintrust and stole one, 111-104. Toronto just had more buckets when it mattered. Sky kept it close but couldn't get the stops late.
02
key player
Nyara Sabally was an absolute problem, 29 and just living in the paint. Chicago had no answer for her all night.
03
hot take
Sydney Taylor dropped 27 and they still took the L at home. That's a defense problem, not a scoring one.
04
deep cut
Skylar Diggins quietly ran the show with 9 dimes. Toronto's young guard Kiki Rice grabbed 8 boards too, which nobody saw coming.
05
exit
Sky drop to 3-4, gotta fix the road struggles before the next one. Long season though.
The recap

Toronto walked into Wintrust and stole one, 111-104, with Nyara Sabally going off for 29 and just bullying folks in the paint all night. Sydney Taylor did everything she could for Chicago, dropping 27 to keep the Sky within reach, but she didn't get enough help.

Marina Mabrey kept the offense humming with 7 dimes, and the Tempo just had too many buckets down the stretch. Chicago takes the L and slides to 3-4, while Toronto climbs back to even at 4-4.
