Minnesota TwinsvsChicago White Sox
MIN 1/CHW 4
Things to say
The White Sox beat the Twins 4-1 at home on Rate Field.
01
opener
Yeah, Sox took it 4-1. Kept the Twins off balance all night and the bats did just enough. Pretty tidy win.
02
key player
The Chicago arms were the story — one run on the board, that's their pitching getting into its stuff and living on the corners.
03
hot take
One run in a whole game? The Twins' heart of the order flat-out disappeared. That lineup should never get shut down like that.
04
deep cut
Sox are 74-67 now and quietly clawing over .500 — nobody's talking about them but they keep grinding these out.
05
exit
Anyway, Twins are sliding hard. We'll see if they bounce back next one — should be a good series.
The recap
White Sox took care of business at Rate Field, handling the Twins 4-1 in a tidy little getaway-day win. Chicago's arm work was the story — they kept Minnesota's bats quiet all afternoon and never let the heart of the order do any damage, holding them to a single run.
Four runs was plenty of cushion, and the bullpen slammed the door to lock it up. Two teams going opposite directions here, and the South Siders got the better of it.
