Golden State went into D.C. and just smothered Washington, walking out with a 62-49 win where the Mystics simply couldn't buy a bucket all night. Kaitlyn Chen ran the show for the Valkyries, dropping a team-high 14 and dishing four dimes while the defense turned every possession into a grind.
Washington never found a rhythm — 49 points is a rough night, and even Kiki Iriafen's 12 and Shakira Austin cleaning the glass with 11 boards couldn't dig them out. This was a defensive clinic, and the Mystics took the L on their own floor.
