Golden State ValkyriesvsDallas Wings
GS 94/DAL 76
Things to say
Golden State beat Dallas 94-76 on the road.
01
opener
Valkyries went into Dallas and took care of business. 94-76, never really close in the second half. Wings just couldn't find any offense.
02
key player
Veronica Burton was the best player on the floor, easy. 22 and 7 dimes, ran the whole thing.
03
hot take
Golden State is legit. 22-9 is not a fluke, they're a top team out West.
04
deep cut
Dallas got 11 boards from Shepard and it didn't matter, they scored 76 and couldn't buy a bucket down the stretch.
05
exit
Wings need to figure it out fast, they're sliding. Curious what they look like next time out.
The recap
Golden State walked into Dallas and handled business, 94-76, never really letting the Wings hang around. Veronica Burton ran the whole show with 22 and 7 dimes, an absolute clinic at both ends.
Dallas just couldn't buy a bucket all night, and Paige Bueckers' 17 was a lonely stat line with nobody backing her up. The Valkyries move to 22-9 while the Wings took the L at home.
