The recap
Getaway day in Houston and the Astros made it look easy, taking care of the White Sox 6-2 to salvage the series. Houston's starter got into his stuff early and handed the bullpen a lead they never sweated, while the heart of the order did the damage with a couple of balls that left the yard.
Chicago never really threatened after the middle innings, and the two runs they scratched across came way too late to matter. Astros keep clawing back toward .500; the Sox head out with a sour taste.
