Dallas WingsvsGolden State Valkyries
DAL 70/GS 78
Things to say
Golden State beat Dallas 78-70 at Chase Center.
01
opener
Valkyries took care of business at home, 78-70. Never really felt close down the stretch. Golden State's just tough to beat at Chase Center right now.
02
key player
Gabby Williams was everywhere. 23 and 7, and she was getting buckets in the paint all night.
03
hot take
Low-scoring grind like that, and the Wings still only put up 70. Their offense couldn't buy a bucket.
04
deep cut
Veronica Burton quietly ran the show with 5 dimes. She sets everything up for that Valkyries offense.
05
exit
Paige Bueckers dropped 21 in the loss though. That kid's the future, gonna be fun to watch Dallas next year.
The recap
Golden State handled business at home, holding Dallas to just 70 in a 78-70 grind. Gabby Williams was the engine all night, dropping 23 and grabbing 7 boards to lead the Valkyries to their 25th win.
Paige Bueckers kept the Wings hanging around with 21 of her own, but she couldn't get enough help and Dallas just couldn't buy a bucket down the stretch. GS locks in the defensive clinic and Dallas takes the L.
