The Phillies took the Yankees out behind the woodshed at Citizens Bank Park, hanging up 11 runs in an 11-4 laugher. New York's staff never got into its stuff, and once Philly's heart of the order started squaring balls up, the crowd smelled blood.
This was a beatdown from the jump, the kind of getaway-day drubbing where the visiting manager empties the pen just to get everybody home. Yankees still sit atop the standings at 59-46, but they'll want to burn this tape.
