The Yankees rolled into Rate Field and put a nine-spot on the board, cruising to a 9-5 win over the White Sox on a getaway day. New York's bats got busy early and often, and by the time the dust settled the heart of the order had done plenty of damage to push them to 60-46.
The White Sox managed to plate five, but they were chasing the whole way and never really threatened to close the gap. Chicago drops to 55-50 and heads home with nothing to show for it.
